Part-time | London-based | Food & Hospitality Client
We’re looking for our next freelance social media talent to support one of our food and hospitality clients.
This is a part-time freelance role and the candidate must be based in London, as the role requires regular in-person visits to the client’s restaurant locations.
Please only apply if you can share clear examples of social content you have personally created, especially for Instagram, TikTok, restaurants, lifestyle, food, hospitality or similar brands.
You’ll take ownership of the restaurant’s Instagram and TikTok channels, creating fresh, on-trend content that feels native to each platform and supports the client’s marketing objectives.
We’re looking for someone creative, reliable and highly motivated, with a strong understanding of organic social, content strategy, digital marketing and paid social. Experience with TikTok Ads is required, alongside experience managing content production, including photo and video shoots.
Responsibilities
* Create fresh, trend-led content for Instagram and TikTok
* Manage and maintain a strategic content calendar
* Write captions and support copy creation across social channels
* Publish content across Instagram and TikTok
* Monitor channels and manage daily community engagement, including liking, commenting and reposting
* Visit restaurant locations 3 times per month to capture live content
* Attend, coordinate and manage photo and video shoots when required
* Brief photographers, videographers, creators and talent where needed
* Manage shoot logistics, timelines, shot lists, content requirements and final asset delivery
* Support tactical boosting following agreed budgets and target audiences
* Plan, set up and manage TikTok Ads campaigns
* Provide monthly social media and paid social reporting
* Monitor competitor activity and stay ahead of social trends
* Support influencer marketing and UGC engagement
* Help cultivate relationships with creators and brand ambassadors
* Contribute fresh social media ideas and engagement tactics
* Work closely with the Makerz CEO and the client’s marketing team
The ideal candidate will have
* Proven experience managing social media channels, especially Instagram and TikTok
* Strong examples of content they have personally created
* Hands-on experience creating Reels, TikToks, Stories and short-form video content
* Experience with TikTok Ads
* Experience running paid social ads or boosted content
* Experience managing photo shoots and video shoots from briefing through to final delivery
* Experience working with food, restaurants, hospitality, lifestyle or premium consumer brands
* A strong eye for detail and a genuine passion for storytelling
* Confidence managing multiple social media accounts
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
* A proactive, self-starter attitude
* Ability to multitask and prioritise across different content needs
* A genuine passion for food, restaurants and hospitality

* Remote working outside of venue visits, shoots and required meetings
* Monthly freelance retainer depending on experience
