A private consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering expert-led, commercially focussed surveying and project management services, is looking for a Director to join them at a pivotal time of growth.
They're agile, trusted, and passionate about delivering smart, efficient outcomes.
This is a 70% project / 30% professional role. You’ll be hands-on, leading high-value projects while helping shape the future of the consultancy.
In the project space (70%), you’ll:
* Manage multiple projects including project management of commercial projects to refurbishment oversight, within a range of £100k – £1.9m.
* Provide clear, confident advice to clients and stakeholders—grounded in expertise and commercial awareness.
* Navigate contracts and negotiations, with a calm, solution-focused approach.
In the professional space (30%), you’ll:
* Lead and deliver complex building surveying instructions—everything from dilapidations and technical due diligence
* Guide and mentor junior surveyors, helping to grow technical excellence and confidence.
* Contribute to strategic decisions—from team growth to client acquisition and service evolution.

What they are looking for:
* Chartered status (MRICS or MRICS expected in 2025 essential)
* Experience in the Commercial Sector.
