We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Enfield to assist with the appointment of a Senior Parent Support Advisor, on a 1-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £20.28 - £25.60 per hour
Overview
To provide holistic family assessments and coordinate single or multi-agency packages of support. The Senior Parent Support Advisor will empower families to address challenging behaviours, improve relationships, and promote positive outcomes with a focus on increasing school attendance, attainment, and reducing exclusions.
Responsibilities
* Carry a complex caseload, acting as Lead Professional to coordinate multi-agency family support.
* Undertake whole-family assessments using Early Help and Signs of Safety models.
* Develop and review family action plans, applying solution-focused techniques.
* Deliver accredited evidence-based parenting programmes.
* Support families below statutory thresholds and step down cases from social care.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years experience of direct work with children, young people, and families (home or community).
* Experience working with multi-agency partners across statutory and voluntary sectors.
* Proven ability to support families with multiple and complex needs.
* Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and record-keeping skills.
* Proficiency with IT systems (MS Office, Outlook, case management systems).
