Exciting Opportunity for a Production Planning Manager.
As a Production Planning Manager, you will take a leadership role in ensuring we meet our on-time delivery targets whilst managing relationships with key areas within the business. You will work closely with the Manufacturing, Assembly & Test Managers & Supply Chain to meet customer deliveries whilst satisfying quality, delivery, and cost. You will ensure that all key stakeholders are kept up to date of any issues that arise which could cause delay to our customer.
Who are we?
What will you do?
1. Manage the day to day running of the Production Planning & Production Engineering teams.
2. Provide accurate forecasting of Operations hours to the Finance team.
3. Produce a Sales & Operations Plan (S&OP) monthly, presenting this to the business.
4. Create tender and baselined project programmes keeping key stakeholders informed.
5. Monitor Manufacturing performance.
6. Co-ordinate, expedite and hold accountable all business functions and suppliers to ensure activities are completed on time, and that all parties are working to achieve the maximum results.
7. Attend/Chair various meetings concerning Projects, Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
8. Ability to successfully manage multiple stakeholders across the business, resolving schedule conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
9. Create work orders and purchase demands where necessary.
10. Provide delivery lead-times to Project Managers
11. Ensure company safety policies and procedures are followed and embraced to promote a safe working environment.

14. Commercial acumen / experience in dealing with clients and suppliers
15. Confidence and experience to pro-actively solve problems, think laterally, and identify corrective actions.
16. Communication, negotiating, influencing and inter-personal skills, with the drive and commitment to achieve project objectives. •
17. Ability to work independently.
18. Computer literacy i.e., Word, Excel, PDF Editor
19. Excellent Time Management Skills
20. Excellent Communications skills (Written and Oral)
21. Strong data organization and storage knowledge
22. Ability to interpret customer specifications.
23. Knowledge of Project Management practices
24. Knowledge and understanding of project programs
