Our client, a global organisation, urgently require an experienced Legal & Contracts Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. In order to be successful, you will have the following experience: Extensive background within commercial legal and contracts departments Legal degree or equivalent experience Excellent stakeholder management experience Experience gained within Defence or Government sector Able to obtain SC Clearance (candidates with active SC will be prioritised) Within this role, you will be responsible for: As the Legal & Contracts (L&C) Officer, you will help the company navigate and manage commercial risks through our contracts Provide clear and timely legal guidance and advice to our sales, projects, and functional managers, and handle agreements with service suppliers Ensure the company is compliant with national laws and Leonardo directives, keeping an eye out for any changes so we can update our policies and procedures as needed Provide legal advice and manage contracts Identify and mitigate contractual risks Ensure adherence to legal requirements and directives Negotiate contracts and resolve disputes Manage terms for new business proposals Maintain contract records Maintain client and supplier relationships This represents an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role within a dynamic and rapidly growing organisation.
