Health & Safety Manager
Cumbria & Northeast (multi-site) | Travel Required
This isn’t your typical Health & Safety role.
If you’re looking for a position where your work genuinely makes a difference every single day, this could be exactly what you’ve been waiting for. You’ll be joining a high-impact, regulated care environment, where your expertise will help protect and support both staff and young people in residential settings.
This is a role where you won’t just maintain standards — you’ll shape them.
The Opportunity
You’ll take the lead on Health & Safety across multiple residential sites, acting as the driving force behind a proactive, positive safety culture. From influencing leadership teams to embedding best practice on the ground, your impact will be visible and valued.
What You’ll Be Doing
Leading and developing the Health & Safety strategy across multiple sites
Conducting audits, investigations, and compliance reporting that drive real change
Supporting managers with risk assessments and practical safety planning
Designing and delivering engaging training that sticks
Championing a culture where safety is embedded at every level
What We’re Looking For
NEBOSH qualified (or equivalent)
Proven experience in a multi-site Health & Safety role
Confident communicator, able to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel
Experience within residential care, education, or regulated environments is advantageous — but not essential if you bring the right attitude and expertise.
Why Apply?
Be part of a values-led organisation with a meaningful purpose
Work alongside passionate, supportive professionals
Enjoy a competitive salary, flexibility, and ongoing development
Play a key role in creating safer environments where people can thrive
