Job Summary: The Trainee Estimator will assist in the estimation and procurement process for a range of joinery products. This role involves supporting the estimation of live and tender joinery contracts, preparing job sheets, ordering materials, and helping to schedule work to meet monthly targets. The successful candidate will be trained to use Word, Excel, and Sage packages to prepare quotations and schedules, handle customer queries, and work closely with the Senior Management Team to ensure customer deadlines and requirements are met. Main Responsibilities: 1. Estimation Support: Assist in estimating live and tender joinery contracts received via email and telephone. Help prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for a variety of joinery products. 2. Order Processing: Assist in preparing job sheets upon order receipt. Help order materials necessary for project completion. Support scheduling work for the month in alignment with targets set by the Director. 3.
