Ready to become a Senior Care Worker?
Pembrokeshire | Full-Time | Community Care & Support
Are you ready to take the next step in your care career?
Service Direct is a new and growing community care and support provider operating across Haverfordwest, Milford Haven, and Pembroke. We're offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated, caring individual to join us as a Senior Care Worker.
About the Role
This is a varied position where you'll support both our clients and our staff team. You'll split your time between the office, the community, and completing some direct care calls to ensure full-time hours. As the company grows, the role will naturally develop into a more supervisory and leadership-focused position.
Key responsibilities include:
* Rostering and coordinating care staff
* Conducting assessments, reviews, and spot checks
* Developing and maintaining care plans and risk assessments
* Supporting staff development and ensuring high-quality care
* Taking part in the on-call rota (Out of Hours)
About You
We're looking for someone who:
* Has at least 6 months' experience in domiciliary or community care
* Is committed, reliable, and genuinely wants to develop as the company grows
* Is passionate about making a difference in people's lives
* Wants to progress into supervision and leadership
* Is professional, approachable, and able to motivate a team
* Can build strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
* Is flexible between 6:30am and 11:00pm, 5 days per week, including weekends, and able to join the on-call rota
* Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a car
If you already have experience in rostering, assessments, or care planning, that's a bonus. If not, full training will be provided and we'll enrol you onto QCF Levels 2, 3, 4 and 5 in Health & Social Care.
What We Offer
* Competitive pay and mileage allowance
* Ongoing training and career development
* Enrolment onto QCF qualifications (Levels 3, 4 & 5)
* A supportive, friendly working environment
* A genuine opportunity to grow with a company that values people and quality
