Location: Leicester LE3
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week
Responsibilities
* Negotiating with customers: You'll work with commercial customers to resolve overdue debts while maintaining positive, professional relationships.
* Developing payment solutions: By understanding customers’ financial situations, you’ll help negotiate sustainable payment arrangements that suit their needs and circumstances.
* Managing the debt recovery process: Efficiently progressing debt cases through the treatment paths, accelerating higher-risk cases, and ensuring issues are resolved quickly to prevent further delays.
* Collaborating with teams: You'll work closely with both internal and external teams to maintain a unified, efficient approach.
* Providing performance updates: Prepare accurate management information to report on your individual performance and success.
Qualifications
* Strong Negotiation Skills: You’re a natural at negotiating win-win solutions and are adept at managing sensitive conversations with tact and diplomacy.
* Previous Experience: While experience as a Credit Controller or Collections Advisor is beneficial, we’re open to individuals with strong negotiation skills and customer service backgrounds.
* Energy Industry Knowledge: Experience in the energy industry is a bonus but not essential. What matters most is your ability to understand and resolve financial issues effectively.
* Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You must be an excellent communicator, able to build rapport and work well with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Analytical Mindset: You have a keen eye for detail and are naturally curious, using your analytical skills to find solutions and improve processes.
