Salary: £16.70 – £17.60 Per Hour
Hero Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of one of our partnered care providers for experienced Team Leaders to join a brand-new care home opening soon in the Woking area.
About the Role
As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of Healthcare Assistants to deliver exceptional care. You'll oversee shifts, ensure care plans are followed, and provide hands‑on support to maintain a safe, caring, and welcoming environment for all residents.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervising, supporting, and mentoring care staff
* Overseeing shift management and implementation of care plans
* Administering medication (training provided if required)
* Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and policies
* Supporting residents' wellbeing, independence, and quality of life
* Acting as a positive role model and promoting high-quality care
About You
* Previous experience in a senior care or supervisory role
* NVQ Level 3 (or working towards) preferred
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Calm under pressure with the ability to motivate and support a team
