Salary: £32,000 - £38,000
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented HR & Learning and Development Officer to support the continued growth of Galgorm Collection. This hybrid role combines core HR functions with designing, delivering, and evaluating impactful training programs aligned with our brand values and operational goals.
Responsibilities
1. Human Resources:
o Maintain up-to-date employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
o Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
o Support employee relations processes, including absence management, investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances.
o Promote a positive work culture aligned with Galgorm's values.
o Ensure compliance with employment documentation requirements.
o Liaise with departments like Payroll and Health & Safety.
o Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and employee well-being.
o Advise managers on HR policies and employee relations.
o Oversee the employee lifecycle and prepare statutory reports.
o Support daily HR operations in the absence of the HR Manager.
2. Learning & Development:
o Develop and deliver engaging training content.
o Assess training needs with department managers.
o Maintain training records and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
o Promote a learning culture supporting continuous development.
o Support career progression and succession planning.
o Assist with the Learning Management System (LMS).
3. Additional Responsibilities:
o Attend training programs as required.
o Undertake additional tasks or projects as requested.
Person Specification
Essential: Knowledge of Northern Ireland employment law, excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems, experience advising managers, solutions-focused mindset, confidentiality, valid driver’s license.
Desirable: CIPD Level 3 or above, familiarity with luxury hospitality standards, experience in hospitality or service environments.
