Children's Support Worker
Experience: Minimum 1 year supporting Children and Young People.
Position Details: Full-time role including full day sleep shifts. The shift pattern typically involves 3 full day sleeps in week 1, the same in week 2, and only 1 in week 3.
Location: High-spec property in Huddersfield.
Requirements: Driving license (vehicle provided), experience working with challenging young people, willingness to travel between homes if needed, preferably NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or willingness to work towards it.
Salary: £25,000 – £32,000+ annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:
* Assist the Home Manager and Service Manager in ensuring effective operation of the home, focusing on resolving young people's issues and promoting healthy development.
* Provide a warm, caring, and therapeutic environment suitable for young people with challenging behavior and learning disabilities.
* Demonstrate leadership and efficient organization.
* Maintain accurate administrative and record-keeping systems.
* Coordinate childcare planning for children within the home.
* Ensure a safe, healthy, and homely environment.
* Liaise with external agencies, educational institutions, and relevant individuals to support young people's education and training.
* Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the home.
