Are you experienced and passionate about Customer Service?
At Aster, you can share your enthusiasm and drive for Customer Service in our Contact Centre. This is a busy but important role, so at times you’ll be working under pressure, but your commitment to customer service will make this a great role for you.
The successful candidate will be required to work their first 4-6 weeks full-time in our Devizes office, Monday - Friday from 8am - 4:30pm, to complete our induction training programme. Once the training is complete, you will be able to work flexibly with a mix of in-office and remote work.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be engaging with customers via calls, live chat, or email daily, making appointments, supporting them with self-service options, resolving issues, and ensuring their needs are met using your common sense and logical problem-solving skills.
You will be the voice of Aster and the first point of contact for all customers. Managing a high volume of interactions with our 90,000 customers, you will handle various customer inquiries and situations.
You will assist customers in different ways, take control of situations, and find resolutions. This role offers the chance to take pride in your work, possibly helping customers through challenging times. Experience in a similar role is desirable, but full training will be provided.
Empathy and the ability to see things from the customer's perspective are essential.
About you
You should have experience in customer service, with the ability to handle complaints and solve problems effectively. Good listening skills, confidence in communication, and the ability to manage high customer contact are important.
Multi-tasking is key, as you will chat with customers while updating information in our systems. Proficiency with IT systems and Microsoft Office is required. If you are confident with IT, we want to hear from you.
Resilience is crucial; being able to maintain professionalism and not take work personally during challenging conversations is necessary. Customers may call during difficult times, so emotional resilience is valued.
