Data Migration Analyst (Extraction & Transformation) **
We are seeking a Data Migration Analyst on behalf of a Local Authority Client based in Yorkshire.
Salary: £500 - £600 per day (Outside IR35) - may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience.
Contract type: Initial 6 months term subject to review possibility of extending up to one year.
Hours: 4 days a week.
Location: Remote working.
Job Purpose:
* Work with the nominated CMBC ICT&D team members to oversee the data extraction from the legacy systems to ensure appropriateness, adequacy and to timeframe required.
* Using the supplied Access Group migration documents and expert knowledge, support the transformation of the data by the ICT&D team members from the legacy systems and other data sources, into the format required by the Access Group.
* Work with the nominated ICT&D team members to ensure transformed files are supplied in the correct format, in the correct location, and in the time frames required by the project plan and documentation - for each data migration iteration.
* Work with the test manager and/or other team members to facilitate the data testing and resolution of migration issues.
* Provide training, support, and guidance where appropriate to the ICT&D team members.
* Work with the Project's data migration business leads, the Project leads and other members of the Project team as needed to ensure clear communication is maintained about all iterations of the data migration, success and data quality issues to be addressed.
Experience:
* Experience of working with MOSAIC essential.
* Data Migration Extraction & Transformation experience.
* Local Authority / Public Sector experience.
