Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and motivated professional to lead our Improving Quality in Physiological Services (IQIPS) accreditation programme. This is a pivotal role in ensuring our diagnostic services meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and patient experience.

Job Responsibilities
* Support the Lead Healthcare Scientist in delivering quality, governance and safety standards across Audiology and Cardio‑Respiratory Services.
* Manage and be accountable for the IQIPS accreditation processes throughout the Physiological Science departments, working collaboratively with all staff and leading the relevant teams to ensure accreditation is successfully maintained.
* Support all staff in the clinical service unit to ensure high quality audits and governance processes.
* Support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service, acting as a role model to others and consistently demonstrating the Trust values.
Person Specification
Experience
* Experience working within a multi‑disciplinary team
* Evidence of senior management experience
* Experience in clinical audit and implementation of actions
* Experience in developing policies and implementing them across staff groups.
* Experience in undertaking presentations and public speaking
* Evidence of a proactive approach to change and developing clinical practice
Skills
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to a wide range of staff
* Skills in presentation of data with well‑developed IT skills
* Effective organisational and leadership skills
* Ability to work unsupervised within set parameters
* Attention to detail; adaptable, flexible approach to work
* Time management skills and ability to work to deadlines
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* Experience leading a team in a positive manner and fostering a positive team culture
Knowledge
* Significant knowledge of governance, safety and risk standards including national and local standards; knowledge of the Quality Standard for Imaging and Improving Quality in Physiological Services
* Understanding of Information Governance and Confidentiality
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, PowerPoint, internet and email
Qualifications
* Degree level healthcare scientist with current professional registration
* Postgraduate or equivalent experience in governance, safety and accreditation process
Desirable
* Extensive knowledge and experience of working in an Audiology or Cardio‑respiratory department, with in-depth knowledge of procedures and processes
* Significant experience in governance and safety practice within a clinical environment
* Recognised project/programme qualification, e.g. Prince2, AgilePM, MSP
* Knowledge of a range of procedures within physiological science
