About the Role:
Recruit A Driver is seeking experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a Leeds-based client. This role involves multi-drop deliveries of general haulage or solar panels, all palletised loads, to commercial premises across the North East, North West, Yorkshire, and Lincolnshire.
This is a varied and active role with a maximum of 812 drops per shift.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver palletised general haulage or solar panels to commercial sites
* Complete between 812 drops per day
* Use tail lifts and electric pump trucks where loads cannot be forklifted off on site
* Ensure safe and secure loading/unloading of goods
* Maintain accurate paperwork and high professional driving standards
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) UK driving licence
* Recent Class 1 driving experience
* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
* No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences
* Confident using tail lifts and electric pump trucks
