Data Warehouse Developer – EPR Integration SpecialistFixed Term/ContractA leading UK healthcare organisation is looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Developer with EPR Integration expertise to support a major Electronic Patient Record (EPR) implementation programme. This is a senior technical role within the Digital directorate, playing a key part in ensuring accurate, reliable, and timely data flows into the organisation’s data warehouse and reporting systems.Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the integration of the new EPR system with the organisation’s data warehouse and reporting tools.
2. Develop, maintain, and optimise automated ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and T-SQL.
3. Design and enhance data models, reporting structures, and extraction routines for internal and national dataset requirements.
4. Support EPR data migration activities, ensuring accurate extraction, transformation, validation, and loading of clinical data.
5. Act as a technical expert and reviewer for integration and ETL development work.
6. Provide leadership and line management to a Data Warehouse Programmer.
7. Ensurepliance with dataernance, information security, and confidentiality requirements.
Essential experience:
8. Significant hands-on experience building and supporting data warehouse solutions and ETL processes.
9. Strong expertise with Azure Data Factory, SQL/T-SQL, and data modelling.
10. Experience working with large-scale healthcare data, ideally including EPR systems.
11. Ability to lead technical workstreams and manageplex integration activities.
Desirable:
12. Experience with NHS clinical systems (, SystmOne).
13. Azure or cloud certifications.
14. Knowledge of NHS data standards and reporting requirements.
