About Our Client
The client are a global luxury retail brand that are based in the West End of London. They manufacture and distribute a very specific retail product globally and work with some of the largest fashion brands in the world! They are looking for a Finance Analyst to join the team and report directly into the FPandA Manager. The role will have a wealth of growth and progression prospects and the successful candidate will have a wide exposure to a number of different responsibilities and areas of the business. They will mainly be business partnering with the marketing team.
Job Description
The successful Finance Analyst will:
* Act as a Finance Business Partner with the wider business (mainly the marketing department)
* Provide analysis and insight on the Marketing and logistic budgets and forecasts before they are approved
* Budgeting and Forecasting
* Monthly variance analysis - with commentary
* Month-end management accounts production
* Commercial finance analysis and providing commentary to assist with company strategy
* Month end / Year end: review and control of the actual vs budget + accruals
* Work in close relation with the accounting team to make sure costs are accurately reported
* Lead ROI analysis on key marketing activities
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate will have:
* Approximately 3 years experience in a similar role as a Finance Analyst, Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance Analyst etc. - MUST be from a retail or FMCG company
* Studying towards the ACCA or CIMA
* Prior business partnering experience
* MUST have advanced Excel skills
* Prior working knowledge of Business Central (desirable, not essential)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
