Responsibilities:
* Based from home. Conducting comprehensive fire risk assessments on residential, commercial, and industrial properties to identify potential fire hazards.
* Evaluate existing fire safety measures and provide recommendations for improvements to mitigate risks.
* Analyse and interpret relevant fire safety regulations, codes, and standards to ensure compliance.
* Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, risk levels, and recommended actions.
* Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop fire safety strategies for new constructions or refurbishments.
* Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on fire safety protocols and procedures.
* Conduct fire safety training sessions for employees and other personnel.
* Stay up to date with the latest advancements, research, and best practices in fire safety.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in conducting fire risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.
* In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations, codes, and standards.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify potential fire hazards and evaluate safety measures.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
* Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Proficiency in using fire risk assessment software and other relevant tools.
* Professional certifications in fire risk assessment or fire safety (e.g., CFPA, NEBOSH Fire Certificate, Level 4 Diploma) are highly desirable.
