Job Description
Due to an internal promotion, The Watches of Switzerland Group are seeking to recruit a Boutique Director to lead our Rolex Boutique in Glasgow.
The history of Rolex is inextricably linked to London, where the company was founded in 1905 by Hans Wilsdorf making this new flagship location even more significant.
Position Overview
The Boutique Director will lead a team offering professional expertise in an elegant setting, one that promotes a sense of harmony, discretion and intimacy with the brand.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Establish a client-centric strategy, to ensure the highest level of client experience is executed at all times.
2. Coaching and support the team, ensuring client experience expectations are always being delivered.
3. Optimise hospitality, to create unique and memorable client interactions.
4. Develop strong and meaningful relationships with clients.
5. Manage, support and motivate the team.
6. Play an active role on the sales floor to lead the team by example and ensure a welcoming environment in the boutique.
7. Manage an efficient back of house and ensure consistency with established operational procedures.
8. Identify efficiencies and enhance best practices.
9. Ensure compliance with all Watches of Switzerland and Rolex procedures.
10. Collaborate with the management team to recruit, retain and develop talent.
11. Execute development plans for each employee.
12. Continuously train, coach, and provide qualitative feedback, using reward and recognition to improve team engagement and performance.
Role Requirements/Attributes
1. Significant experience in a Senior Management role within hospitality or retail – ideally within a premium/luxury brand.
2. Experience in managing and developing a high performing team.
3. Passionate about retail and delivering an exceptional client experience.
4. Experience of demonstrating successful business growth.
5. Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
6. Commercially focussed.
7. Experience of working with a CRM system.
