Known for their expertise and commitment to quality, they are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer and Operator to join their skilled and friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled CNC machinist to work with advanced CNC milling machinery and contribute to high-precision engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have experience programming and operating CNC Hurco Mills and machining aluminium parts. The Role: We are seeking a bright, positive, and skilled CNC Programmer and Operator with experience in machining aluminium components. This role offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to grow within a well-established precision engineering company. Key Responsibilities: *Independently program and operate 3-axis VM20i & 5-axis VMX30Ui CNC Hurco Mills. *Conventional programming in WinMax using DXF files. *NC programming using Fusion 360 CAM software. *Machining aluminium, plastics, and free-issue parts. *Tool management and setup. *Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings. *Maintaining strong organisational practices and good engineering hygiene. Requirements: *Proven experience as a CNC programmer and operator. *Proficiency in programming 3-axis and 5-axis Hurco milling machines. *Strong knowledge of technical drawings and tooling setup. *Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and punctuality. Desirable Skills: *Experience with Aberlink CMM programming. *Familiarity with CO2 laser and Fibre laser operation.
