PROJECT MANAGER - CONSTRUCTIONPOSITION : Project ManagerLOCATION : Commutable from Peterborough, Newmarket, Cambridge, St Neots, Letchworth, Huntingdon, Bishops StortfordSALARY AND BENEFITS : Variable package £80-£90k to include car (with fuel card) or car allowance, healthcare, bonus Applications are also welcome from experienced freelance Project Manager's with rail experience who would be interested in working on this project on a day rate basis - Outside IR35 ( subject to assessment) or PAYE basisTHE ROLE : Our client is a well respected, established main contractor who carry out a wide range of exciting Building / Civil projects throughout the UK including in the rail sector. They are looking to recruit an experienced Building / Civil Project Manager for a new project that is due to start in the next few weeks. This is a D&B project The value is circa £20m so candidates must have experience of working as a Construction Project Manager on projects of at least that value, specifically within the rail sector. This is a site based role.YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING :
* Significant previous experience working as a Project Manager on Civil projects for a main contractor in the rail industry. D&B experience preferred.
* Experience of working on NEC projects within the rail sector
* Extensive client liaison experience, including clear communication, providing updates and addressing concerns throughout the project life cycle
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Experience of managing project resources effectively, including labour, materials, and equipment
* The ability to co-ordinate Site Management teams and Subcontractors to ensure the project is delivered on time and to budget.
