We’re a leading name in the motorhome and caravan industry, and we’re on the lookout for a Team Lead – Service Advisors to join and guide our friendly aftersales team in our busy Gunthorpe service reception.
About the Role
As the Team Lead, you’ll oversee and support a team of Service Advisors, ensuring the smooth running of our service reception and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You’ll act as the first point of escalation for customers, coordinate with workshop teams, and set the standard for efficiency and professionalism across the department.
Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and support a team of Service Advisors.
* Manage day-to-day customer enquiries in person, by phone, and email.
* Oversee bookings for caravan and motorhome servicing and repairs.
* Ensure accurate communication between customers and workshop staff.
* Review and approve invoices, process payments, and monitor financial accuracy.
* Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve issues effectively.
* Monitor team performance, set targets, and report on KPIs.
* Promote additional services, products, or accessories to maximise revenue.
* Contribute to process improvements and team development.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role (motor trade, automotive, or leisure industry preferred).
* Previous team leadership or supervisory experience in a service or customer-focused environment.
* Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Confident in using computer systems and managing booking platforms.
* Professional, approachable, and able to motivate a team.
* Passion or interest in caravans, motorhomes, or the leisure vehicle sector is an advantage (but not essential).
