Skilled Manual Machinists - (Across Day & Night Shifts)PermanentWe are currently recruiting for experienced and motivated machinists to join our team across a range of manual and CNC boring and milling roles. This roleoffers opportunities on both day and night shifts, working on medium to heavy engineered components in a busy and well-established manufacturing environment.Machine Types:Manual Vertical Borer Setter/Operator Day & Night ShiftsManual Horizontal Borer Setter/Operator Day & Night ShiftsCNC Vertical Borer Setter/Operator/Programmer Day & Night ShiftsCNC Elgamill Setter/Operator/Programmer Night ShiftCNC Hartford Horizontal Borer Setter/Operator/Programmer Night Shift(Please note: CNC Horizontal Borer role is not currently active but may become available in future.)Key Responsibilities:Setting and operating manual or CNC boring/milling machinesProgramming CNC machines where required (Fanuc or Heidenhain controls)Producing medium to heavy workpieces to customer drawings and specificationsCarrying out self-inspection to ensure quality and accuracyMaintaining a safe and organised working environmentCandidate Requirements:Proven experience in a similar machining role (manual and/or CNC)Background in turning or milling depending on roleAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsStrong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerancesExperience with Fanuc or Heidenhain control systems (for CNC roles)Familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as Cimco or Fusion (where applicable)Flexible and willing to work overtime when requiredAdditional Requirements:CNC Vertical Borer candidates must have manual machining experience, as flexibility across machines is essentialTPBN1_UKTJ
