Job description
We are seeking a PR Account Manager on a 9 month temporary maternity cover contract, with an inquisitive mind who isn’t afraid to get stuck into complex themes and topics, to join our friendly business & technology team at our Norwich office!
Working across an array of B2B clients, we are looking for an individual who is passionate about creating high quality communications and is sensitive to the nuances required when targeting specialist audiences.
Ideally you will 3+ years of experience in a marketing-related field. You will be confident, self-motivated and able to multi-task effectively, whilst also having a good approach to customer service. You will also have an excellent standard of writing and meticulous attention to detail.
The role will include:
- Researching news and creating ideas for PR campaigns
- Creating impactful content in the form of press releases, articles, blogs & white papers
- Drafting pitches and distributing press releases
- Building media lists using journalist database software
- Monitoring coverage and updating media logs
- Updating clients on campaign progress
- Day to day client account management
- Line management support and guidance to junior employees

Ambition PR is a small, friendly agency and ideally suited to candidates who enjoy working in smaller environments.
This is a temporary full-time position - Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours a week. The contract is expected to run from September 2025-June 2026 and there may be opportunities to extend beyond this period.
Salary Range: £29,000-£33,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
We currently operate a hybrid model - working on average 1-2 days per week from home and the remainder from our office conveniently situated in Norwich city centre - a 2 minute walk from St. Andrews car park.
