As our Senior Accountant, you'll help shape Riverford's future.
We're looking for someone to join our Finance team for 18 months and help us through an important time. We're bringing in a new ERP system, which is a big project for us. While the core team focus on making that happen, we need you to keep the day-to-day finance work running smoothly.
This role is varied and hands-on. You'll spend time on financial reporting, reviewing payroll, and keeping on top of balance sheet reconciliations, as well as stepping in to support colleagues across the business with their finance needs. It's the sort of job that suits someone who enjoys variety and is happy to switch between tasks to keep everything moving.
We'd love to hear from you if you're detail-focused, flexible, and good at working with others. You'll be someone who likes getting things right, who can spot what needs doing, and who's willing to pitch in where needed. It's a chance to be part of a supportive team, help us deliver a big project, and make sure the finance function carries on doing what it does best.
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum
Location - Hybrid Working based on Wash Farm, Buckfastleigh, Devon, TQ11 0JU
Hours - This is an 18-month fixed term contract.40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
What You'll Bring…
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
* At least 2-3 years post qualified experience in a fast-paced finance role
* Strong understanding of core finance processes, including payroll, month-end, and reporting
* Experience working in a finance team within a dynamic, fast-paced environment
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to review and interpret financial data and reports
* Comfortable working across multiple areas of finance and adapting to changing priorities
* Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
