The Facilities Department are looking to recruit a number of hard working enthusiastic individuals to join our friendly and dynamic Cleanliness Service Team at Clatterbridge Hospital.

The role of Healthcare Cleaning Professional is to support the smooth day to day operational running of our Hospital through achieving excellent cleaning standards that will provide a clean and safe healthcare environment that meets our patient's expectations.
Part time Healthcare Cleaning Professional shifts, and hours are available:
6.30am - 9.30am Monday to Friday - 15hrs per week
3pm - 7pm Monday to Friday - 20hrs per week
5pm - 8pm Monday to Friday - 15hrs per week
3pm - 7pm Saturday to Sunday - 8hrs per week
There will be a requirement to work Bank Holidays
Main duties of the job
General baseline cleaning duties of the hospital environment will include mopping, vacuuming, damp dusting, cleaning of toilets and bathrooms and serving beverages to patients.
Additional specialised cleaning duties, including infection prevention and control cleaning, will be required as directed.
The successful Healthcare Cleaning Professional candidates will be required to:
have a flexible and adaptable approach to prioritise workload and work in all areas of the hospital as instructed have customer service skillsbe friendly and approachablebe reliable with good time managementhave awareness of Infection Prevention and Control practices within a healthcare environmentdemonstrate the core capabilities and behaviours of the rolebe passionate about delivering a high-quality service
Cleaning experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given to provide the knowledge and skills to be a competent Healthcare Cleaning Professional. Uniform will be provided.
