Qualifications:
* At least 7 years in journalism, science writing, brand storytelling, narrative development, or a related role.
* Strong background in scientific communication, healthcare, biotech, or pharma
* Fluency with generative AI tools—and a clear point of view on what AI should and should not do.
* Comfort interviewing senior scientists
* A passion for stories that move people—especially those that inspire pride, trust, or curiosity.
* Published work in a journal, brand magazine, or documentary-style feature.
* Experience working in R&D-driven or service-oriented companies.
Job Duties:
* Partner with scientists, project teams, and leaders to identify meaningful company stories—from major scientific milestones to small, character-rich moments.
* Translate highly technical or confidential material into engaging stories while maintaining scientific accuracy and compliance boundaries.
* Bring original thinking, emotion, and human insight to the final product.
* Build and manage a bank of “company story soundbites”.
* Collaborate with PR, marketing, and leadership to align stories with strategic themes and messaging.
* Contribute to a more human-centered brand voice that reflects our purpose and values.
