Our Retirement Housing Services in Alexandria are looking for a Casual Retirement Housing Assistant to support cover requirements for both planned and emergency leave.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is seeking flexible working arrangements and/or looking to gain valuable experience in a social care environment.
The role will be primarily based at our Bridge Court Development, with the expectation to provide cover across our West Dunbartonshire developments when required, including:
* Bridge Court
* Church Court
* Oakbank
* The Croft

As an Assistant
The successful candidate will undertake a range of cleaning duties to ensure that internal communal areas are clean, hygienic and meet the standards expected by our tenants and visitors to the development.
On occasion, the Assistant will be expected to clean vacant flats and/ or external pathways of the development and provide general and emergency assistance to tenants, as required. In addition you will respond to property emergencies, taking appropriate action when the Manager is off duty and providing cover for the development office as required.
Bield Offer

Shifts will be offered on a casual basis to cover planned and emergency leave. Ability to accept shifts at short notice would be desirable, however not essential.
About You
* Experience of a similar type of role would be an advantage but is not an essential requirement as training will be provided.
* You should bring to the role a genuine interest in working with older people and an ability to respond calmly to requests for assistance.
