A Level 2 Teaching Assistant plays a vital role supporting class teachers and enhancing pupil learning outcomes in primary schools throughout Bolton and Bury.
Role responsibilities:
Support classroom activities under teacher guidance
Assist pupils with learning tasks and help maintain focus
Supervise groups during lessons, playtimes, and transitions
Prepare and organise resources for learning activities
Observe pupil progress and share feedback with class teachers
Support whole-class behaviour management
Key skills & requirements:
Experience or qualification at Level 2 in Supporting Teaching & Learning (or equivalent)
Good communication and teamwork skills
Patience, initiative, and confidence with young learners
Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice
