The role
At a glance, your role is to clean all areas of the pub thoroughly, enhancing the customer experience by maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness at all times. Our pubs open early and close late, so we offer great flexibility with shift patterns, including mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes.
Duties Include
* Maintaining cleanliness in all areas: customer areas, toilets, bar, kitchen, staff areas and outside spaces
* Completing daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks, following standard operating procedures
* Using cleaning chemicals and equipment correctly
* Monitoring cleaning supplies and notifying the manager when more are neededReporting all maintenance and pest‑management issues to the manager on duty
* Interacting politely with customers – greeting them, saying “thank you” and “goodbye”
* Completing required induction, role‑specific and ongoing refresher training and contributing to continuous improvement
