Finance Assistant - Part-time (4 days per week) Reporting to: Head of Finance Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The role will focus on managing the purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control and bank reconciliations, procurement including all purchases for Wilkinson Grant. Key Responsibilities Maintain and process entries on the purchase ledger, ensuring all supplier invoices are coded, authorised, and paid accurately and on time. Manage the sales ledger, including raising invoices, posting receipts, and reconciling accounts. Procurement – Maintaining all purchasing and supplier contract information. Carry out credit control duties, including monitoring debtor balances, issuing reminders, and liaising with customers to resolve queries. Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately. Assist with month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations and reporting. Support the finance team in preparing reports and financial information for management. Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and internal controls. Essential Skills & Experience Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar finance role. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Familiar with Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Blocks Online would be advantageous.
