and main responsibilities
1. To be responsible for ensuring that within all specific work areas all local and national performance targets and objectives are met.
2. To provide and receive highly complex and sensitive information, then effectively present the information to large and multiple teams some of which may be resistant to hearing the information or charge.
3. To be responsible for ensuring the operational delivery of services; leading and effectively implementing change management initiatives to improve service provision.
4. To influence the strategic development and service improvement of services within the agreed portfolio, in conjunction with the Clinical Directors, General Manager and Nursing teams.
5. To participate in strategic development and service improvement of other services across the Directorate in conjunction with the General Managers and relevant Clinical Directors, Clinical Leads and Heads of Department, leading and delivering on specific projects as required.
6. The portfolio may change in line with the Deputy General Manager’s personal development programme and the needs of the services across the Directorate.

7. Acute NHS hospital operational experience.
8. Extensive line management and problem solving experience
Qualifications

9. First degree or has appropriate level of senior management experience

10. Healthcare qualification.
