In this role, you'll be the go-to person for keeping our offices, breakrooms, and bathrooms spotless, stocked, and inviting. From vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting to making sure supplies never run low, your work ensures our team can focus on what we do best: building quality steel products for the electric utility industry. Responsibilities
* Clean and sanitize offices, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and surface cleaning.
* Maintain cleanliness of breakrooms, ensuring tables, chairs, appliances, and countertops are clean and sanitized.
* Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors.
* Restock bathrooms and breakrooms with supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
* Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and other necessary items.
* Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals properly and safely.
* Collaborate with other custodial staff to ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained to standards.
* Responsibilities are not limited to the list above and include additional assigned tasks as needed.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a custodian, janitor, or in a similar role preferred.
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
* Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning practices.
* Good physical condition: ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
* Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
