Role Overview
We’re looking for a proactive, capable and ambitious Junior Account Manager to take day-to-day ownership of one of our most important customer relationships.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their career who’s already proven they can handle pressure, make decisions, and manage commercial relationships. You’ll be dealing with customer operations teams daily, managing orders, resolving issues, and making sure everything runs smoothly – with the confidence to act fast and the judgement to escalate when needed.
We don’t need a finished article – we’re looking for someone motivated, curious, and eager to grow with us as part of a fast-paced, high-impact team.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the first point of contact for a key food manufacturing customer
• Take ownership of daily order fulfilment, issue resolution, and communications
• Coordinate with logistics, operations, and commercial teams to ensure on-time delivery
• Flag and resolve problems quickly – or make judgement calls where needed
• Build strong working relationships across multiple departments
• Maintain clear records, paperwork and reporting for the account
• Be a trusted operational partner – reliable, consistent, and proactive
About You
• Experience in fresh produce, food, or agri-supply chain – ideally in an account support, commercial, or operations role
• A fast thinker with strong communication skills and confident decision-making
• Comfortable with accountability and acting independently
• Keen to learn, develop and progress your career
• Able to manage competing priorities in a time-sensitive, high-stakes environment
• A natural organiser who thrives under pressure
• Strong attention to detail, but not someone who gets stuck in the weeds
Nice to Have
• Experience working with major customers (e.g. Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Bakkavor, etc.)
• Familiarity with Red Tractor, ISCC, TASCC, or other assurance schemes
• Based in or near Lincolnshire, or willing to travel
£40,000 – £48,000 depending on experience + performance bonus + progression potential
