GVA Search is proud to be partnering with a fast-growing Beauty & Cosmetics company located in central London. Due to rapid growth, they are seeking to recruit a strategic and commercially astute Finance Director who is fluent in French to oversee their financial operations and guide their financial strategy. Key Responsibilities include: Drive company results from both an operational and financial perspective, working closely with the Founder and other key executive team members. Build financial models, analyse and prepare financial statements, and reconcile income and expenses for the Group. Manage all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting, helping to drive the company’s financial strategy. Define investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks. Present financial results to the Board and discuss strategic plans. Provide leadership and direction for the finance team (4 people). The successful candidate will have the ability to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and have the desire to drive improvements in the end-to-end financial accounting and reporting process. You will need to be highly numerate with an eye for detail with a professional and collaborative approach to achieve set deadlines, with a ‘roll up sleeves’ to get the job done attitude. T he ideal candidate would be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent), with a strong ability to manage and motivate a high-performing finance function. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, along with a thorough understanding of corporate finance and accounting principles. Fluency in French is essential for this position.
