I am working with a truly innovative and dynamic major IT consultancy that boasts an impressive portfolio of clients across diverse markets.
As part of their expansion plans, they are looking for a Senior Microsoft Purview Consultant to join the team and support their clients in implementing and enabling Microsoft Purview and related M365 and Azure Technologies, including end-to-end data governance, compliance, and risk management solutions.
The Role
You will work as part of a team on various Microsoft Purview capabilities such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection (IP), Insider Risk Management (IRM), and Data Lifecycle Management. Your role will involve deploying and optimizing Purview solutions for data discovery, classification, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities include designing and deploying Microsoft Purview solutions across Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms to meet data governance and compliance objectives, assessing customer environments, and delivering tailored configurations, policies, and controls.
You will support and design deployments of features like eDiscovery, Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Communication Compliance, and Information Barriers. Advising on and implementing best practices for Insider Risk Management and compliance using Purview's tools is also essential.
The role involves working with C-level stakeholders, compliance, and information governance teams to align technical solutions with business policies and regulatory requirements. You will also integrate Microsoft Purview with other Microsoft 365 services and Azure infrastructure, present findings to technical teams, and provide ongoing support to optimize clients' compliance posture.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience delivering Microsoft Purview solutions across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, with a thorough understanding of features including Sensitivity Labels, encryption, eDiscovery, Communication Compliance, Data Lifecycle Management, and Records Management.
They should possess excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and Azure platform integrations, experience in designing or auditing enterprise data governance and compliance controls, and strong documentation skills.
Ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly to clients and stakeholders is crucial. A passion for problem-solving, teamwork, and creating innovative solutions is essential. Due to project sensitivity, candidates should have or be eligible for SC clearance.
