Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum + package

The Role:
This Project Manager position is a senior, hands-on role working closely with the Directors, responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of projects and contracts. As Project Manager, you will oversee projects from initial enquiry through to completion and client sign-off, ensuring smooth delivery across all stages.
This role suits a Project Manager who doesn't wait to be told what to do-someone who thinks ahead, solves problems, and takes pride in delivering results. You'll have real autonomy as a Project Manager, while playing a key role in improving systems, supporting teams, and helping drive the business forward.
Responsibilities:
1. Take ownership of contracts from enquiry through to completion
2. Manage workflow, labour planning, and resource allocation
3. Ensure continuity of work across operational teams
4. Support supervisors and site teams to deliver efficient, high-quality work
5. Monitor project performance, quality, and safety standards
6. Lead clear communication across teams
7. Conduct site surveys and pricing as Project Manager
8. Build and maintain strong client relationships
9. Encourage repeat business and support growth
10. Manage client expectations and resolve issues promptly
11. Work with finance on forecasting and resource planning
12. Coordinate internal teams and subcontractors as Project Manager
13. Mobilise supervisors with clear project briefs
14. Identify training and development needs
15. Ensure subcontractors meet required standards
16. Support operational decision-making alongside Directors
17. Ensure all projects align with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards
18. Oversee Health & Safety, RAMS, and COSHH requirements
19. Maintain awareness of risks and operational challenges
20. Operate within the Quality Management System
21. Promote a proactive safety-first culture
22. Contribute to management meetings as a Project Manager
23. Identify and implement operational improvements
24. Help shape processes as the business grows
25. Drive continuous improvement across all projects
Requirements:
26. Experience within construction, commercial roofing, or similar sectors would be beneficial
