Location: Immingham, Lincolnshire, North East, UKOLG Recruitment are currently looking for a Civil & structural Engineer to work for a major client based in Immingham. This is a temporary contract position for an initial period of 12 months, and then will be reviewed after his period. Responsibilities:Develop and implement surveys and inspection program, covering, superstructures, stacks, silos, secondary containment structures, drains, sump, pits, road, rail track, fireproofingLiaise with consultants and specialists to develop specific solutions for projects, (small, medium, and large), maintenance and turnaroundLiaise with plant owner to gather information for the development of specific solutions.Be proficient in all, or most, of the aspects of Civil & Structural engineering techniques.Design experience is essentialExperience with specific structural and civil engineering design software is required, e.g Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Tedds, Stadd.Pro, Graitec, SAP2000Proficient in AutoCAD, conversant with Advance Steel, NavisworksExperience in the implementation and design of temporary works solution, e.g. superlifts, temporary support for retrofitting of new equipment utilising existing Critical Skills:Chartered Structural or Civil Engineer (Or actively working towards chartered status)Demonstrated technical expertise (to recognised professional level or equivalent)Excellent communicator and presenterWide industry / discipline knowledge and contactsHighly customer focussedUnderstands role and uses expertise to contribute to business improvement Ability to manage conflicting prioritiesDecision maker & motivatorQualifications & Experience:BEng or Masters degree in engineering, or relevant disciplineIT literate with experience of AutoCAD, Outlook, Excel & WordAdvantageous but nor essential, charter or working toward chartership with a recognised organisation, ICE, IStructETPBN1_UKTJ
