Role Responsibilities
Main Duties
Business Partnering
12. To act as a key interface between Finance and the services of Iris Care Group.
13. Develop and maintain accurate knowledge and understanding of the key revenue and cost drivers throughout the business
14. Support the business by responding to queries in a timely and accurate manner whilst maintaining professionalism at all times.
15. Responsible for shaping and delivering the business partnering function
16. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the business and become a trusted advisor to the services.
17. Understand your audience and deliver information in a clear and user-friendly manner
Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
18. Create and maintain the annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts of the group.
19. Liaise with operational managers to ensure targets are fully understood and agreed to.
20. Responsible for P&L, balance sheet and cashflow forecasting, ensuring bank covenant targets are exceeded at all times.
21. Prepare forecasting models to evaluate and provide insight on financial impact of new initiatives, investments and business opportunities.
Business Performance
22. Identify trends in performance and highlight to management potential issues and risks before they happen.
23. Prepare variance analysis of actuals to budget and run rates and provide recommendations to management in response to variances and their causes.
24. Provide insight through meaningful commentary to explain business performance and guide decision makers to commercial outcomes.
Reporting
25. Production of regular management information for Board, Senior Management Team, Investors and external stakeholders.
26. Production of ad-hoc information as required to support the business and FP&A Team.

30. Experience of budgeting and forecasting

35. Strong presentation skills
36. Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel)
Desirable
37. Public sector finance (public sector approach to budgets and categories of spending)
38. Experience of the Adult Social Care industry
39. Board level reporting
40. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
