Overview

Join to apply for the Factory Operative role at AIMCH. We are currently looking for an experienced Factory Operative to join our friendly team in Alfreton.

Reporting to the Production Manager the successful Factory Operatives will be responsible for operating the Plant & Equipment at the site to ensure budgeted targets are met or exceeded, whilst complying with company and legislative SHE and Quality Policies and Procedures.

The role will also include carrying out daily production data reporting, and operator preventative maintenance tasks.


Responsibilities

* Operating the Plant & Equipment at the site to ensure budgeted targets are met or exceeded, whilst complying with company and legislative SHE and Quality Policies and Procedures.
* Carrying out daily production data reporting, and operator preventative maintenance tasks.
* Ensuring that Health & Safety rules are adhered to and deliver safety/operational performance targets.
* Comply with all Tarmac Building Products Policies & Procedures.
* Supporting continuous improvement of process, plant and production.
* Effective completion of operator preventative maintenance tasks.
* Balancing the time covering operation and cleaning of the production line.
* Building working relationships with other production and maintenance personnel.
* Good time keeping and flexibility.
* Ensure products of high quality are efficiently produced.


Requirements

As a Factory Operative you will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within a similar production environment. You will also:

* Possess good communication skills and be numerate.
* Be a proficient communicator.
* Be a good team player.
* Have experience of manual handling.
* Willingness to work 24/7 continental shift pattern. Rota: 12hr shift pattern averaging 42hrs per week. Dynamic and inclusive environment and its important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds, therefore prior technical experience isn't always necessary for success.
