We’re looking for a dedicated Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Whyteleafe. This role is perfect for graduates considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology, or child development, and who want to make a real difference to children’s learning and wellbeing.
What We’re Looking For
* A graduate in Psychology (or a related subject)
* Prior childcare or child-related experience (school, nursery, youth work, tutoring, childcare, etc.)
* A patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children
* Reliability, initiative, and confidence in working both 1:1 and with groups
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
* Assisting teachers with engaging lessons and interventions
* Helping children with social, emotional, or behavioural needs to thrive in the classroom
* Encouraging resilience, self-confidence, and positive learning habits
* Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
