Join the Sonova Group to become a Student Hearing Aid Dispenser. This role offers a structured 56‑week paid training journey to qualify as a Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser and a Hearing Aid Audiologist.
About the Role
As a Student Hearing Aid Dispenser, you’ll receive formal training combined with hands‑on clinic experience in Boots Hearingcare stores. You will work under direct and indirect clinical supervision within a defined scope of practice, building skills, confidence, and experience. Upon completion of QHAD and HCPC registration you’ll qualify as a Hearing Aid Audiologist and receive a salary uplift.
Program Overview
 * Start Date: Monday 19th January 2026
 * Length: 56 weeks (full‑time; weekend work required)
 * Salary During Training: £25,000 + £3,000 car allowance
Responsibilities
 * Build clinical knowledge and practical skills
 * Complete written and practical assessments
 * Maintain a Clinical Competency Logbook
 * Work in‑store alongside experienced clinicians
 * Receive structured coaching and milestone reviews
Program Structure
 * Training Centre Workshops – core clinical skills, safety, standards, and customer journey
 * Supervised Clinic Days – hands‑on in‑store learning with qualified Hearing Aid Audiologists
 * Guided Study & Live Team Sessions
 * Theory & Practical Assessments plus Clinical Competency Logbook
 * Coaching and milestone reviews throughout the journey
Qualifications
 * Hold GCSE (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and Science at grade 5 (High C) or above (evidence required)
 * Ideally have relevant clinical experience such as hearing care support or healthcare role
 * Will work 37.5 hours per week, including some weekends
 * Ability to study independently and travel locally between stores/clinics (car allowance provided)
