Job Description:
We are searching for an enthusiastic and experienced Production Engineer to join a dynamic company, focused on developing and providing world-leading products and services to their clients in the global energy industry.

The Role
The Production Engineer will facilitate the transition of a product from R&D to production, providing guidance, documentation, and information to support manufacturing and servicing of mechanical products.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Collaborate within a cross-departmental team to ensure smooth product transition from design to production
* Provide various formats of information to enable manufacturing and servicing, ensuring quality standards are met
* Identify optimal manufacturing methods, employing best practices
* Coordinate with suppliers and purchasing to manage the supply chain, including auditing and performance reviews
* Review manufacturing methods for continual improvement
* Operate within the document control system to manage manufacturing documentation
* Maintain manufacturing database information accurately
Skills & Experience
Required
* Experience in assembling and testing mechanical assemblies and products
* Experience in creating and updating assembly and test procedures
* Ability to interpret and create engineering drawings and bills of materials
* Knowledge of process hold points, QC activities, and FATs
* Qualification in a mechanical engineering discipline
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
* Experience with Autodesk Inventor and Vault or similar software
* Experience with MS Visio and Adobe FrameMaker is beneficial
