A growing multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong project pipeline across the South East is looking to appoint an Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Surrey. With a focus on residential, commercial, healthcare, and education sectors, this consultancy delivers projects ranging from £5m-£100m in value. The Company The successful Associate Quantity Surveyor will be joining a well-established consultancy that works with both public and private sector clients across the region. The business is expanding and looking to strengthen its senior commercial leadership, by hiring an Associate Quantity Surveyor, offering a clear progression route to Director level. The Role As the Associate Quantity Surveyor, you'll lead on multiple live projects while supporting a small commercial team. This is a client-facing role involving full pre- and post-contract cost management and active involvement in business development. Key responsibilities will include: Delivering cost consultancy services across a range of projects Leading client communications and managing stakeholder relationships Mentoring and supporting junior QSs and APC candidates Preparing cost plans, contract documents, and financial reports Managing procurement processes and tender evaluations Attending site visits and representing the consultancy at project meetings The Associate Quantity Surveyor Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline MRICS preferred (or working towards chartership) Significant experience in a UK consultancy environment Confident in leading projects and managing commercial teams Strong technical knowledge across pre- and post-contract stages Able to work independently and as part of a team In Return £70,000 - £85,000 salary (dependent on experience) Hybrid working policy Clear path to Director level Supportive team culture Contributory pension and holiday benefits If you're an experienced Associate Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your consultancy career, this is a great opportunity to lead significant regional developments with long-term progression potential.
