Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Systems Assurance Manager to lead financial systems assurance, corporate reform compliance, and internal control excellence. This role is based in Frimley or Glascoed with hybrid working arrangements and lasts for 24 months, working 37 hours per week. The position is inside IR35 and pays £40 per hour PAYE.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Leading assurance across finance systems to support corporate reform and compliance.
* Acting as the primary interface between Finance, GCC, EIT, GPO, and other stakeholders.
* Driving high standards of financial controls and data governance.
* Embedding a controls culture across the business.
* Delivering system controls aligned with transformation initiatives.
* Overseeing audit deliverables and supporting audit actions.
* Providing leadership within a matrixed team and managing direct reports.
Core Duties include:
* Delivering assurance on finance systems aligned with reform objectives.
* Maintaining ownership of finance systems RACMs.
* Supporting project delivery and change programmes.
* Collaborating with governance and audit functions.
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
* Knowledge of finance and IT systems audits, governance frameworks, and data principles.
* Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
* Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is desirable.
* Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
