Position: Referrals Receptionist
Location: Sheffield (S9)
Contract type: This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday 9am–5pm)
Rate: £23,800 per annum.
You have the opportunity to play a key role in Exemplar Health Care’s future growth as our new Referrals Receptionist!
You will be joining one of Exemplar Health Care’s most established teams, providing the opportunity to develop professionally and personally, with the support of the wider Referrals and Business Development department. You will collaborate with various colleagues across Exemplar Health Care ensuring each day is varied and fulfilling.
As the first and main point of contact for incoming referrals, you’ll play a key role in our mission, to meet the growing demand for complex care, and make every day better for the people we support – that all starts with you!

About the role
No two days will ever be the same in this role, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
promoting the organisation’s good reputation by handling all communication politely and effectively
taking calls from enquirers
accurately recording essential information in Caresys
ensuring messages are correctly taken, passed to the relevant person, and documented
submitting information completed by clinicians to our portals and brokerages and participate in the administrative process of gathering feedback on enquiries and referrals
maintaining data analysis as directed to support the department’s needs.
About you
For this position we are looking for someone to bring:
strong attention to detail and proven experience in administration,
excellent communication skills and professional telephone manner, enabling you to interact effectively with a range of stakeholders,
the ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment,
competency using IT systems, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in your work,
represent and demonstrate our core values!
