Transport Controller – Night Shift Temp to Perm Opportunity Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (continental) Hours: 7:00pm – 7:00am (occasional 9:00pm–9:00am cover required) Pay: £14.68 per hour The Opportunity Our client is offering an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing transport business, working as part of a high-energy night shift team. While transport planning is a key part of the role, outstanding customer service is at the heart of everything they do. For this reason, we are prioritising attitude, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills over direct industry experience. This is a temp-to-perm role with long-term opportunities for the right candidate. The Role Reporting to a Team Leader, you will act as the first point of contact for customers and drivers, ensuring a smooth end-to-end service. The role requires flexibility, strong organisation, and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally via phone and email in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for delivering a high level of service at all times, working proactively to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery.
