Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Building Surveyor. The ideal candidate needs to be comfortable working away from home 2-3 days a week as the housing provider has stock all over the UK as well as some experience working within social housing. As a Building surveyor, you will be required to work within a small team and be competent in taking on all aspects of repairs. housing stock all over the UK and would be looking for somewhere who would be able to stay away from home 2-3 times a week. The ideal candidate will be expected to have experience in: • Planned Maintenance • Identifying building defects & takes appropriate remedial action • Ability to manage and complete high valued projects from start to finish • Ability to prepare schedules and prioritise work loads • Carrying out pre & post inspections to ensure works meet contract standards You will be responsible for managing your own workload and holding a substantial influence within the Property Services team.
