Position: Behaviour Support Practitioner
Location: Regional - travel and overnight hotel stays essential.
Contract type: Full Time, 40 hours
Rate: Up to £27,648 + £3,000 car allowance
Interviews: will be conducted at the Exemplar Health Care Support Centre, Sheffield, 17 Europa View, Sheffield Business Park, S9 1XH
Join us as our new Behaviour Support Practitioner
In this role, you’ll support individuals displaying behaviours of concern and collaborate with colleagues who care for them.
You’ll develop, deliver, and evaluate training programs from psychological and physical perspectives.
You’ll also assist our care home staff in creating behaviour support plans, reviewing behaviour records, and role modeling effective management of behaviours of concern.

About the role
You’ll provide training and visit our homes to offer effective behaviour support tailored to individual needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to apply your training, coaching, and positive behaviour support skills to make a real difference.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting in the development, delivery, and evaluation of training programs
2. Supporting care homes in organizing and delivering training to meet company targets
3. Using excellent presentation skills to communicate new and complex concepts to staff at all levels
4. Measuring and evaluating learning outcomes and embedding learning into practice
5. Supporting clinical teams in reducing violence, severity, and impact of restrictive interventions
6. Providing support during difficult times, such as mental health deterioration
7. Reviewing incident statistics and reports, offering support and additional training as needed

About you

* Possess a Level 2 health and social care qualification or equivalent
